Abstract: Gregoria Tarongodal of Mogmog Island interviewed on Yap by Modesta Tauwl about backstrap weaving in the Outer Islands of Yap, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in October of 2022. The interviewee discussed differences in weaving in the past vs. today, the backstrap loom, local fibers, differences in weaving patterns, and the culture of weaving.
