Abstract: Rosita Yalorthog of Fais Island, an Outer Island of Yap, interviewed on Yap by Modesta Tauwl about backstrap weaving in the Outer Islands of Yap, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in August of 2022. The interviewee discussed differences in weaving in the past vs. today, differences in weaving patterns, and the culture of weaving.
