Abstract: Agnes Reat of Falalop Island in the Ulithi Atoll, an Outer Island of Yap, interviewed on Falalop by Modesta Tauwl about backstrap weaving in the Outer Islands of Yap, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in June of 2022. The interviewee discussed the importance of weaving and the differences in weaving patterns in the past vs. today. The interview is conducted in the Ulithian language.
