Chuuk

Chuuk State is one of the four states in the Federated States of Micronesia.
The term "Chuuk" can also more specifically designate the Chuuk Lagoon, a portion of that State, distinct from the Outer Islands of Chuuk situated beyond the Lagoon.
Chuuk Lagoon is a group of high volcanic and low coral and sand islands, and reefs, surrounded by a barrier reef. Historically, it has also been called "Truk."
