We continue to work the [REDACTED] problem with the SSCI Staff and within the Administration. Senator Hart is continuing to insist that the troublesome sentence remain. The SSCI Staff is redrafting the entire para- graph to try to find the middle ground. Meanwhile, we have the sound advice of the NSC Staff (Dave Aaron and Rick Inderfurth) to stick with our view that the troublesome statement gets tpo, c.lo5e to sources and methods.
