Abstract: Governor Juan Antonio Pimentel reports from Umatac on an unnamed Guam-built boat sent in 1711 to search for the Caroline/Garbanzos Islands, its failure to return to Guam, and his intention to build another vessel. The letter also defends his response to the 1710 English pirates, requests artillery and gunpowder for Guam, and includes material related to Apra Harbor.
