Abstract: Attributed to Fr. Luis Pimentel, this account narrates Governor Manuel de León’s 1669 visit to Guam and includes an annual report on the first year of the Marianas mission. It records the arrival of the galleon, missionary activity and baptisms, the anti-baptism campaign of Choco, Chamorro settlement patterns and customs, and miracle narratives from Guam and the northern islands.
