Abstract: This group of letters records the missionaries' first days at Guam after landing in June 1668, including initial baptisms, contact with local leaders, early assessments of receptivity, and reflections on divine providence during the voyage. The texts also describe companions and Filipino assistants and provide some of the earliest eyewitness accounts of the mission's establishment on Guam.
