Abstract: Royal decree ordering Governor Domingo de Zabalburu, or whoever governed the Philippines, to outfit a vessel for Jesuit missionaries to enter the Pais or Palaos Islands, provide necessities for their voyage and maintenance, send a suitable soldier escort under missionary direction, and order the annual Marianas patache from Cavite to explore the islands on its return route.
