Abstract: Governor Joseph Madrazo acknowledges receipt of the 1699 subsidy delivered by the galleon Nuestra Señora del Rosario, San Francisco Xavier y Santa Rosa. He also reports the reduction of the Gani Islands, settlement of the relocated population, creation of a new residence, and preparations to search southward for Carolina Island.
