Entries record Manila galleon arrivals and departures, Acapulco and Colima reports, soldiers and convicts sent to the Philippines, Jesuit and ecclesiastical appointments, deaths of governors and bishops, English pirate threats in the South Sea, the departure of Fr. Sanvitores and other missionaries for the Marianas, the reported discovery of Marcus Island, and 1703 reports on the galleon Rosario and the death of Fausto Cruzat.
