Abstract: Account of the round-trip voyage of Sebastián Rodríguez Cermeño, 1594–1595. He describes sailing from New Spain across the Pacific, encounters with storms and shortages, and landings along the Californian coast. The return passage brought him to Manila, completing a difficult but instructive crossing.
