Abstract: This is an interim report on "Japanese Dependencies and Colonial Policy" subraitted by Professor T. Yanalhara to the International Research Committee of the Institute of Pacific Relations. Tipi Japaneue Council takes liberty to distribute the paper among the members attending the Baniff Conference of the Institute, as the Council thinks that the report may serve as an useful material for discussion.
