Abstract: Antonio Nieto's deposition recounts the arrival of the missionaries at Guam, including the singing of the Litany of the Virgin that encouraged islanders to board the vessel, the shift of anchorage to Agadña, and the warm reception given to San Vitores and his companions ashore. It is a concise eyewitness testimony to the initial landing and establishment of the mission.
