Abstract: This document presents a proposal for a charitable foundation in the Mariana Islands and related correspondence involving Fr. Anthony Thomas and the Duchess of Aveiro. The foundation proposal envisions an endowed Mariana Mission with colleges, seminaries, infirmaries, support for Japan and China missionary training, and possible vice-provincial status distinct from the Philippines.
