Abstract: A 66-year-old man with non-Hodgkin lymphoma died of strongyloides hyperinfection following antineoplastic chemotherapy. The patient had a military service in Micronesia in World War II where he was supposed to acquire strongyloidiasis. Here we stress the utility of bronchoscopic examination and importance of patients' lives in tropical climates in immunocompromised patients.
