Abstract: The King answers Governor Cruzat’s report on the failed voyage of the patache Santa Rosa and approves the decision to treat its return as legitimate and necessary, to scuttle the damaged vessel at Cavite for coastal protection, and to send Nuestra Señora de la Concepción to the Marianas in 1700.
