Abstract: This composite report for 1674-1676 recounts disputes between the Jesuit missionaries and Captain Damián de Esplana over military authority, the establishment of boys' and girls' colleges, the pacification of Guam and Rota, Alonso López's departure to Manila, Gerardo Bouwens's arrival as superior, and the deaths of Pedro Díaz and Antonio Maria de San Basilio. It is a key narrative source for the mission's internal tensions and consolidation after 1674.
