Abstract: KPress Vol. 14 Iss. 20: NEWS: This issue covers several distinct developments, beginning with the FSM Congress sending a cultural goodwill delegation, known as Team-FSM, to France to participate in the Confolens Festival, a major international folk dance event drawing roughly 100,000 spectators and hundreds of performers from around the world; the FSM delegation, led by Yap State Governor Sebastian Anefal and including former Yap Governor Vincent Figir, featured dancers and musicians who had prepared for years to represent Micronesian culture on a European stage; the issue also reports growing concern in Pohnpei over the posting of personal and family records on the FamilySearch genealogical website, with some Pohnpeians threatening legal action over alleged invasion of privacy related to the publication of vital statistics; additional coverage notes scientific warnings that Pacific bigeye tuna populations are in steep decline, raising concerns for regional fisheries sustainability, and includes a cautionary feature on the ecological risks associated with visiting the Colo-i-Suva rainforest in Fiji.
