Abstract: The Inquisition of Mexico sends the Manila commissioner a list of prisoners condemned in the auto de fe of 15 January 1696 and transported by galleon to the Philippines to serve at the disposition of the governor and captain general. The document identifies the convicts and notes that such transfers were regular in those years, with some convicts remaining permanently in the Marianas.
