Abstract: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment conducted for NAVFAC Pacific in advance of potential acquisition of the Yap Seaport property. The report evaluates recognized environmental conditions (RECs), historical RECs, controlled RECs, and data gaps under ASTM E1527-21 standards. Identified RECs include petroleum staining, aging aboveground storage tanks, an underground fuel pipeline of uncertain integrity, battery storage risks, and adjacent fuel farm hazards. The assessment recommends further investigation to determine contamination risks to soil, groundwater, and marine environments.
