Abstract: In this shorter composite report to Fr. General Oliva, Fr. Andrés de Ledesma summarizes events in the Marianas from 1669 to 1672, especially the renewed uprising on Guam and the killing of Diego Luis de Sanvitores and Pedro Calonsor at Tumon. The reproduced section is a concise parallel account of the martyrdom narrative that circulated within Jesuit correspondence. It is a useful companion text for comparing how the mission reported Sanvitores's death to Rome.
