Abstract: KPress Vol. 18 Iss. 18: NEWS: The environmentally focused performance group Vocal Trash tours Kosrae, Chuuk, and Pohnpei, spreading an environmental message through high-energy shows sponsored by the U.S. Embassy to the FSM; Luen Thai Fishing Venture and the Pohnpei State government reach settlement agreements resolving longstanding civil actions and agreeing to a fish-farming project; four individuals are sentenced to nine years in prison following convictions for trafficking in children; two Nukuoro municipal employees are accused of stealing nearly $18,000 from municipal funds, with court proceedings outlining charges and defendants’ rights.
