Abstract: Le Gentil describes Chamorro sailing canoes, including their outrigger balance, double-ended form, speed, and ability to sail close to the wind, then records provisioning at Guam, trade with Governor Pimentel, the departure of the French ships, and the fleet's course toward Cape Engaño and the Babuyan Islands.
