Abstract: Fr. Luis de Morales presents composite reports on the spiritual and temporal progress of the Mariana Mission from 1681 to 1684, including Governor Saravia's administration, the reduction of Guam and Rota, Chief Ayihi's role, punishment and social regulation, agriculture and cotton, allegiance to King Charles II, the arrival and wreck of the Manila sloop, Saravia's death, Esplana's succession, and the pacification of Tinian and Saipan with salvage of Concepcion cannon.
