Abstract: The Jupiter logbook adds practical sailing directions and a concise description of Guam, including the Ati/Umatac anchorage, Cocos Island, coastal hazards, the island's circumference, its status as the governor's residence, provisioning, the Mariana chain, Magellan's naming of the Ladrones, Islas de las Velas, and the nearby Carolines.
